What our tools do not collect

None of Music Career Toolkit's other eleven tools (Smart Link Generator, Playlist Pitch Assistant, Promo Content Ideas, Release Planner, Artist Bio Generator, Royalty Estimator, PRO & Royalty Checklist, Song Title Checker, Recoupment Calculator, Onboarding Checklist, or Distributor Match) create accounts, use logins, connect to a database, or save your answers, song details, financial estimates, or generated results. We don't use browser local storage, session storage, or cookies to store anything you type into these tools, and we don't automatically collect your email address. Everything you enter exists only in your browser while you're using that tool, and it disappears when you refresh or close the page — there is nothing on our end to delete, because nothing was ever sent to us.

The one exception: the Growth Tracker

The Personal Growth Tracker intentionally saves the entries you log (metric, platform, date, and value) in your browser's local storage, so your history is there the next time you visit in that same browser. This data is still never sent to us or anywhere else — it stays entirely on your device — and you can permanently delete it anytime using the "Clear All Data" button in that tool.

What the wider website may involve

Music Career Toolkit is free to use. Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics we run may automatically collect limited technical information — for example, general device type, browser type, approximate location, or aggregate page-visit data. This is standard for most websites and is separate from anything you type into a tool, which is never sent to us or saved.

Third-party resources

This page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to Google's servers when the page loads.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic — things like which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit, aggregated across all visitors. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages viewed. This is separate from, and never connected to, anything you type into any tool on this site. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Links to other sites

Our tools may generate text referencing external platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, PROs, distributors, etc.) or you may click through to them. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site you visit from here.

Affiliate and referral links

Some links on this site, such as our DistroKid and Suno referral links, are affiliate or referral links. If you use one, it may get you a discount or bonus and may result in Music Career Toolkit receiving a referral benefit at no extra cost to you. We only link to services we think are genuinely useful, and any such link is clearly labeled on the page.

Children's privacy

Music Career Toolkit is intended for a general audience of artists, musicians, and music industry professionals, and is not directed at young children.
